OPCW

This building, delivered by Provast and located on Johan de Wittlaan, near the World Forum, now accommodates the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. Built in a semi-circle (and so often referred to as “The Mushroom”), it contains eight floors adding up to 20,000 m2 and has an underground parking garage. The design is by American architects Kallmann McKinnell & Wood. The building complex meets all the safety requirements of an office building made by the UN. Queen Beatrix officially opened the building on 20 May, 1998.
