Some icons need time to become icons. The Markthal was an icon from day one.

With the Markthal, Rotterdam has a new icon. With eight million visitors annually, the first indoor fresh market in the Netherlands exceeds all expectations. It is the hotspot to shop, eat and live. In the horseshoe-shaped arch above the enormous market floor, we developed 228 rental and owner-occupied apartments, including 24 penthouses with a unique view over the city center. Under the hall, a parking garage offers space to 1,200 cars.
