In the final years of the last century, many organisations fled the deteriorated Beatrixkwartier, which is located immediately next to Utrechtsebaan (A12). Within a decade or so, the area has been transformed into a multifunctional area in high demand in the Central Business District of The Hague. The objective was to secure a wide range of functionalities, underground parking and high-end public spaces. Provast has taken on the development of CentreCourt (40,000 m2 of office space, 123 apartments and a parking garage), Prinsenhof (60,000 m2 of offices space, 200 apartments, a 200-room hotel and a parking garage) and Monarch (85,000 m2 of office space and a parking garage).
