Grotius
Grotius I and II, comprising 655 rental apartments, contribute visibly to The Hague’s skyline.
The Grotiusplaats in The Hague will at long last have a new destination. Here, we started in 2019 with the construction of two residential towers, comprising 655 rental apartments, including 114 public housing homes. The sustainable buildings will have facades of natural stone and wood and – with a height of 120 and 100 meters – will visibly contribute to The Hague’s skyline. The transparent, commercial plinth will house bars and restaurants and service sector offices and offer access to an underground parking garage. Grotius I and II are also the starting point of a complete makeover of the area east of Central Station, including the partial covering of the Utrechtsebaan and the extension of the pedestrian route towards Bezuidenhout.
